Free camping Camping
is restricted to Weekend A and B ticket holders only. Weekend
B (Sat & Sun) ticket holders should note that they will not be permitted
to camp on the Friday evening. Please note also that youth ticket holders
(12 - 16 year olds) are not permitted to camp unless accompanied by a
parent or other responsible adult on the site. All camping permits are
issued subject to availability on a first come, first served basis. If you plan to camp on the Friday evening, please note that admission to the site is from 2.30pm. Please note also that dogs (apart from guidedogs) cannot be admitted to the festival site. If you plan to bring a guide dog please let us know in advance. Access for Disabled People We are again reserving an area within the campsite for parties including disabled people. This area will be close to Marquee Stage 1 and therefore one of the most accessible areas of the campsite. Please let us know in advance if you would like to reserve a 'pitch' in this area for you and your party. Contact Amy on 01228 618774or email amyw@carlisle.gov.uk to arrange your pass. All stages and facilities are accessible to people in wheelchairs and there are adapted toilets. Access between the marquees is partly metalled track with a shallow incline, and partly over grass. Anyone accompanying a disabled person as a carer or helper is entitled to free admission. The tarn measures about 1.3 miles in circumference.. Legend has it the devil sunk a church in the tarn and that on still nights its bells can be heard chiming.
